St Mary's Church is in the heart of Fawdon - even though it is a little hidden behind the main road!

It was built as a multi-purpose church and community space which we try to honor to this day,

opening up the building for many and varying activities.

Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, many of our activities are not currently taking place,

but here are some of the activities that usually happen at St Mary's

Youth & Holiday Clubs

We regularly run Youth and Holiday Clubs with Play in Newcastle

Community Events and Parties

During normal times we regularly run events and parties for the community

at the the church - having a great time.

Sadly Covid-19 restrictions mean these are not possible at present.

Silver Screen - Film Club

Our Silver Screen is usually held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2pm.

We watch a recently released film and serve lovely home made cakes.

Please look out for when this can start again!

Pilates

Kelly Smith, a Physiotherapist, usually runs 3 pilates classes a week in the church. Please look out for details about when these can resume.
